We had another great night walking through the Botanical Gardens Christmas Lights! We definitly spread our Christmas cheer for all to hear haha! One thing I have learned this year is that as a mentor we can't solve all of their problems or keep them from making bad choices sometimes, but what we can do is be there. Be a shoulder to lean on, have ears to listen to them when nobody else will, hold their hands through tough choices and decisions and walk next to them through their life. Be there. That is what they need. I am glad that the supporters of Get Smart made tonight possible for us to spend a night together in the lights when sometimes there is so much darkness.
